Extractor hood with droplet separator for the treatment of annoying fumes from surface treatment

Our customer installed a new line for the surface treatment of aluminum profiles. This line consists of several baths in which the pieces are successively submerged. PCA was contacted to provide a solution to discharge the annoying rising fumes. To solve this, we constructed an extractor hood in PP which was mounted above the line. In addition, curtain slats were attached to the hood to minimize the suction of false air. The extracted fumes are led to a droplet separator to prevent the discharge of miniscule drops from the baths. PCA also supplied the fan in PP which enables ventilation above the surface treatment line.
