Junior Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in problem-solving, optimizing technical equipment, and performing maintenance for our clients. You will also be involved in the follow-up of recently installed systems and small projects. This hands-on role requires broad technical knowledge, a practical approach, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Technical Interventions
- Diagnose and solve technical problems on-site at customer locations.
- Replace and calibrate critical components, such as RO membranes, filters, pH probes, and intervene in complex systems.
- Provide remote support to colleagues by offering technical information and solutions.
Installation Follow-up
- Perform maintenance and optimization of recently installed systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with installations such as evaporators, ion exchangers, and RO systems.
- Manage additional work for specific clients.
Project Follow-up
- Based on experience gained with customers, contribute to the design, calculation, and execution of projects (e.g., RO systems).
- Support the sales team in the pre-sales phase by providing reliable technical estimates.
Education:
- Degree: Professional bachelor's in electromechanics, industrial chemistry, or a similar field.
- Languages: Good basic knowledge of Dutch and the ability to communicate in French and English.
- Technical skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical and chemical systems (e.g., pumps, piping, RO membranes). Basic knowledge of automation is a plus.
